Newborn (Jen's Specialty!):

FEE: $300

•Newborn Studio Sessions can last 3-4 hours each plus my prep time before the session for designing the set-ups with all of the props, fabrics, blankets, backdrops, accessories that I have available in-studio (plus the hours of editing involved after for the images).

•All editing work done after the session and hosting of your proofs on this website in a personal gallery with approx 20-35 (or more)  images to choose from.

•Toddler/Children (Jen's Specialty!)

FEE: $ 150

•The portrait session will last up to 1 hour with small breaks for feeding, diaper changes/bathroom breaks (especially with young children).

•The session will consist of my signature portrait set ups with backdrops (I own a backdrop shop so I have a HUGE collection) and props (all supplied by me). 

•I suggest approximately 3 outfits for the session.  I have petti skirts, rompers, bloomers, and headbands in studio for your use if you choose to utilize them.  These details will be discussed  before your session.

•To ensure the best results, be sure that everyone is rested and fed. If possible, limit children's sugar intake on the day of the session. We can work the session around nap times, etc.  I will send you tips and suggestions before the session.

•All editing work done after the session and hosting of your proofs on this website in a personal gallery with approx 20-30 (or more)  images to choose from.

•Additional siblings included in the session for limited images are an additional $25 per child.

Add a Cake Smash Session  for yearly Milestones

FEE:  add $50 to your session fee

•The portrait session ($150) + Cake Smash ($50) will last up to 2 hours with small breaks for feeding, diaper changes.
•The session will start with my signature portrait set ups with backdrops (I own a backdrop shop so I have a HUGE collection) and props (all supplied by me) for the first half of the session and then end with a cake smash

•I suggest approximately 3 outfits for this portion of the session and a 4th outfit for the cake smash.  I have petti-skirts, rompers, bloomers, and headbands in studio for your use if you choose to utilize them.  These details will be discussed  before your session.

•Cake, cupcakes, or anything else creative you'd like to bring with is supplied by you - light colored icing highly recommended, please. 

•To ensure the best results, be sure that everyone is rested and fed. If possible, limit children's sugar intake on the day of the session. We can work the session around nap times, etc.

Maternity:

FEE: $150

•Session can be done in studio or on location and will last up to 1 hour.

•I have a couple maternity gowns that can be used during your session.  

•I also own a prop shop that sells hand made maternity gowns.  If you would like to purchase a specific one for your session this can be arranged with enough advanced notice and a 15% off discount will be provided off the price of the gown.

•For family sessions:  To ensure the best results, be sure that everyone is rested and fed. If possible, limit children's sugar intake on the day of the session. If done in studio we can work the session around nap times, etc.  If done outdoors the session will most likely take place about an hour before sunset. I will send you tips and suggestions before the session.

•If done outdoors the session will most likely take place about an hour before sunset.

Senior Photos (limited availability):

FEE: $250

•Session can be done in studio or on location. 2 locations for up to 2 hours.  Additional locations may require an extra fee.

Deposit:

$50

•Your deposit holds your date and is non-refundable.

Digital Files:

FEE: $150

•All edited Digital Files (full resolution) will be sent to you via file transfer service at the conclusion of the editing process.

•A print release included as well as recommended services for printing.

•If you would like to pay via credit card or debit card, for the final balance, please do so here. A 3% service charge will be added to cover Paypal Fees.

Final Payment:

•Payment is due the day of the session (minus your $50 deposit).

Travel:

•If the photo shoot is "on location" this fee covers travel distance within 20 minutes of Spotswood, NJ (each additional 20 mins of travel to the session destination and back is $25.00).

Availability:

•The majority of sessions are scheduled on (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs). Weekend sessions are limited.

Rescheduling:

•Re-scheduling for non-weather related or medical reasons must be done at least 2 weeks in advance.

*IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING NEWBORN SESSIONS*

For my specialized newborn sessions - newborns are my the main focus of my time. I ask for sessions to be scheduled well in advance of delivery, I mark your due date on my calendar, and I ask to be added to your call list when baby is born. That allows me time to fit you into my schedule within 5-7 days after baby is born. As baby gets older they become more alert and less flexible which makes the sleepy poses harder to achieve.

I style my shoots, down to the very last details, ahead of your session. If there is a specific item that is very important to you that you are requesting be included in the session please let me know so we can discuss the possibility of one or two of them being incorporated. I strive to be as unique as possible for each new client and tend to stay away from common ‘trendy’ set ups. I own a backdrop & prop company so every session I have has the opportunity for unique props and designs being used. I love color and love accessorizing!

*If family or sibling images take with the newborn, are requested, we suggest a separately booked session.  Our main focus in a newborn session is on the newborn and the comfort of their experience over such a long day.  Newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours, on average, because of the time and effort it takes to get a newborn to stay asleep, calm, and still for their session.  If baby becomes upset during the session it can be very challenging to sooth them back to sleep for the 'sweet sleepy poses' that everyone likes.  The more chance for disruption during a session, the more chance you will get very limited final images.   Adding in additional setups for family shoots and sibling shoots becomes too taxing to the newborn in an already lengthy session.  In addition, adding extra family members (especially small children who generally will not want to sit still for over 4 hours) into a small studio [where quiet and calm is very necessary] can really disrupt the session.

*Please DO NOT come early to your session. My Typical Newborn Session Work Flow:

*I usually have you arrive into a warm, quiet studio, where {hopefully} baby falls asleep or is asleep when you arrive. I typically start with baby posed on the beanbag on various fabrics and then (if baby is cooperative). I move to some prop based images with set-ups I've created/designed.

*If that flow is disrupted with extra people, children, or a noisy environment it can take a very long time to soothe them back to sleep, elongating the session even more and "working" baby even further. I prefer one person to bring baby to the session appointment (if extremely necessary a 2nd person or helper).

Please feel free to bring a book/magazines, crossword puzzles, headphones, etc...whatever helps you get some relaxing time in while the session is being conducted! :)

Studio Location:

•My home-base studio is located in Spotswood, NJ.

What should we  wear to our couples or family sessions?

Clothing is up to you!

•Suggestions: Try your best to avoid clothing with bright/busy patterns, visible designer logos or writing on it. In general, solid colors are best.

•Simplicity is important for your clothing and accessories. Darker clothing minimizes, while lighter clothing slightly emphasizes body size.

•There's no need for everyone in the family to match each other, but you should consider colors that compliment each other. Varying shades of the same color and earth tones work well.

•Try to avoid wearing white, off white, cream, or very pale pink for outdoor shoots as the sun tends to wash out the color.

•And don't forget your shoes! Shoes are just as important as your clothes because they show in photos. Most often, dark-toned shoes work best. Bare feet can be fun as well where appropriate.
